OUR FOUNDER
Isabella Goldmann – Bio Architect, Sustainability Pioneer
Isabella Goldmann has dedicated her professional life to proving that sustainability and beauty are inseparable. As a bioclimatic architect with decades of experience across Europe, she's designed everything, from railway stations to private homes, always with one unwavering principle: spaces should nurture both people and planet.

The Journey
Her approach to sustainable architecture began in Rome, where studying Renaissance masters firsthand revealed timeless principles: buildings that breathe with their environment, materials chosen for longevity and harmony, spaces designed in perfect balance with natural cycles. These weren't modern "green" concepts—they were centuries-old wisdom.
This foundation shaped everything that followed. Through years of practice, research, and relentless curiosity, Isabella developed a deep understanding of how materials interact with spaces, how environments affect wellbeing, and how conscious choices compound into meaningful impact. Bioclimatic architecture wasn't a trend she adopted—it was embedded in her education from the start.
This expertise led to founding Goldmann & Partners, now a certified B Corporation and Italian Benefit Society internationally recognized for bioclimatic design excellence. Within it, she established IRCAS (International Research Centre for Applied Sustainability)—ensuring every project, every recommendation, every choice aligns with rigorous environmental standards.
The Vision Behind RAREMOOD
Years of architectural practice highlighted a gap: people wanted to live sustainably, but struggled to find the right ways and inspiration to do so, as well as finding objects that truly matched both their values and aesthetic standards. The market offered either eye-catching design without environmental responsibility, or eco-friendly products without sophistication.
From this intuition RAREMOOD was born: a magazine that aims to respond to this dual need, in which Italian curatorial experience meets global artisanal discovery, in which the verification of sustainability derives from an understanding of architecture and in which living consciously becomes simple rather than exhausting.
Beyond Architecture
Isabella brings an architect's eye to every discovery: evaluating not just beauty, but how objects interact with spaces, how materials age, how production impacts communities. This perspective, combined with IRCAS research and decades of sustainability expertise, ensures every maker featured on RAREMOOD represents authentic commitment to conscious creation.
