Initial preparation Soak the cord well in water and wash it thoroughly. Lightly moisten the plant you have chosen for your Nomad. 2. Assembly Choose your favorite glass container. Fill with water. The water must reach at least 1.5 cm below the beginning of the cone. 3. Operation The plant absorbs only the water it needs, through capillary action. SEASONAL MANAGEMENT Autumn / Winter Wait until the water runs out completely before refilling. Spring / Summer Top up as soon as the water level drops. Recommended plants: Tradescantia, Philodendron, Calathea, Fittonia, Ficus bonsai, Maranta, ferns and Mimosa pudica Simple maintenance: Use filtered or bottled water, keep the soil moist but not soggy; clean the cone with a scouring pad and baking soda; to prevent mold in the soil, reduce the water and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. 📌 Plant and container not included. Saint | Watering Cone Santo is a 3D-printed terracotta cone that functions as an automatic watering device for medium to large plants. It's impregnated with linseed oil to protect the terracotta and provide a natural barrier against fungi and insects. Studied porosity: the terracotta absorbs water from the bottle and gradually releases it to the roots, keeping the substrate moist for at least a week. Bottle Compatible: The kit includes a small bottle, but you can also use 1.5-liter glass bottles for longer watering. Natural protection: Linseed oil penetrates the cone to create an antibacterial effect; to renew it, simply treat the cone with It's A Mix every 6 months. Versatility: Suitable for all indoor plants; the spiral shape and colorful glaze (white, green, blue, or gray) make it a decorative object. Easy to use: fill the bottle, insert it into the cone and let the clay absorb and distribute the moisture. This version of Nomade adds a glossy glaze to the 3D printed terracotta structure. The enamel gives the vase an elegant look and makes it easier to clean. As the first and only time , moisten the string well, lightly wet the plant and put some water in the container (make sure it does not touch the tip of the cone). The string will absorb the water from the container and release it into the soil. This way the vase releases water only when the plant needs it. Glazed Terracotta: The 3D print on natural terracotta is finished with a colored glaze (blue, green, white); the result is a chic and sturdy vase. Compatible with reused bottles and jars: the cone (Ø 12 cm for the Regular version, Ø 17 cm for the XL) adapts to recycled bottles, jars or glasses. Seasonal recommendations: raise the water level between spring and summer while lowering the level in the winter months.
